www.TurnOffYourTV.com

I'm babysitting 3 kids 11 hours a day plus an hour of driving each way, 5 days a week. So 11 + 2 = 13!!! ;0 The oldest is 9 and the twins are 7. That'll be my life this summer. But hey, I make it fun when I can.

Like today, I announced that "I despise TV and we were going to do something fun!” turned it off and had them follow me outside... The truth is I had no clue what we'd do in their filthy tiny yard... So I pretended to have confidence, like I actually had a plan, and just made it up as I went.

I came across a cooler with wheels in the garage, and a hose by the house... hmmm lots o' concrete in a neighborhood. A little filling up the cooler with water, sticking a kid in it and C&ace becomes a carthorse... annddd presto! Folks, we have water ride! Also neighbor kids appeared out of nowhere and I got a good workout!

Got my paycheck!!! Yehaw!!! Went home. Took siblings and cousins to park. Taught cousin to do back-flips while swinging on the swing set. Played Frisbee. Did some more flips off some bouncy ropes onto wood chips. Bad idea! Got splinters from bad landings! Went to Sonic and got everyone treats. Played tennis and kicked tail! Got home wrote this post. End of day! :) Goodnight....... zzzZZZZZ! ;)

See - THAT is what makes YOU such a very special young lady. Most people would see an un-needed cooler in their path and a garden hose .... BUT NOT YOU THOUGH. You saw a game, and you made it fun. And you encouraged the tiny flicker of IMAGINATION that these children have deep within them ... maybe it will grow because of you. And this is a trait we love so dearly about you !! (and you might thank your mother for giving you such a childhood where your imagination and creativity FLOURISHED !! hee hee hee)

C&ace
Only you. :) Sounded fun...could I come down and have a ride?

Can you do a back-flip from the ground, with no springy surface or anything? Cause if you can, I need to risk breaking my neck to learn...

Thanx MTC for the very nice complements! ;) Yes I definitely owe it to my earthly parents and my Invisible Father! Annddd I thank them!!!

SilverStar,
Yeah! Come down and I'll hold up my end of the deal! You get a ride!!! ;)

Zach,
No. Sadly. Not on hard ground. Though I've wanted to like CRAZY for most of my life. I even went down to the local gymnastics place and asked them what it would take to learn to do a standing back flip. She gave me a huge list and all these classes... blah blah blah. I just want spotters and practice time. Sigh maybe sometime! But... I can do that stuff on the trampoline and that's fun! The only thing is YOU CAN'T CARRY A TRAMPOLINE IN YER BACK POCKET WHEREVER YOU GO! ;)

Whoa, you got a comment from our Spanish speaking friend Rodrigo too. I got one. I have no idea who that is. His blog's totally Spanish too. I think the title means something along the lines of "personalized T shirts"
Very strange. I wonder if there's a connection b/t the two of us. I haven't seen him anywhere else.

Hey Penguin,

I believe you and Candace were victims of "blog spam", in other words, this Rodrigo guy used this blogspace to advertise his little custom t-shirt business.

Incidentally, he's not writing in Spanish, but Portuguese. Yeah, the languages have their similarities so I wouldn't feel too bad about the mistake. Probably the only reason I can tell the difference is because I speak Portuguese myself :-D

Fische, Victor.
I just posted on the Screaming Penguin's blog, and I said that I thought Rodrigo was using French, or Portuguese, though I was going with French. At least I knew it wasn't Spanish.. cause I speak a smidgen of that.

Where did you learn Portuguese? I just got back from a missions trip to Cape Verde, West Africa, and they speak Portuguese (and Creole) there. cool language, confusing, though if you are used to Spanish. Cause it's really close to Spanish, and yet really far away. :)
Tchau!

Okay, Candace.
It's now officially been ONE MONTH since you have posted. Is your life that boring? or are you doing something that takes up so much of your time that you can't share your life with us?

Victor,
Your right it is Portuguese.
"Oi, I found yours blog for google tá well interesting I liked this post. When to give gives passed for mine blog, is on personalized t-shirts, shows step by step as to create a well personalized t-shirt way. Until more"
Junk Ad.
